From the heart of a cold cell deep in Russia
Do you hear the man in chains
Proclaim Him for us all - and are you near him?

One of the things you get with the Holy Spirit is trouble
Praise the Lord and ask for more
I'd rather serve the Lord than make friends with the devil
And that's one thing I know for sure

Many prophets have arisen false and greedy
Bringing miracles and signs
To say that God is dead - well don't believe them!
Jesus Christ the King of Kings is in His glory
He alone permits the strength
To do any thing at all - it's Him who told us

One of the things you get with the Holy Spirit is trouble
Praise the Lord for these hard days
When all the pride of this world has long since turned to rubble

When the end comes as it must signs in the heavens
Will it find you out of oil or brimming overflow - will you be ready?
Russian snow and the greenback dollar melted
