Twelfth Night - (Hats Off To) Freddie Hepburn

from Nice Enough To... Join In? by Twelfth Night - Friends and Family

/

about

Taken from the Skan Demos / First Tape Album. Recorded in Dec 1979 at Multium Studois, Wokingham, soon after Rick had joined the band officially.

It is one of our earliest instrumentals propelled by Clive's echoing bass line, Rick's lovely keyboard arpeggios, and embellished with a classic guitar solo from the Rev-meister!

It was the opening track on our first demo tape that national music paper 'Musicians Only' voted "the best of the week by miles!"

'Freddie Hepburn' was someone who, as I remember, helped Clive out of a financial crisis by buying his old bass pedals - hence the thumbs up in the title.
