Disc One is the original album + other tracks recorded at Revolution studios in 1982. Disc Two has live versions of all the tracks featuring all 3 ‘TN’ singers + 1982 demos. Disc Three has covers/interpretations by many different artists, all remastered & presented in a sumptuous 3CD digipak format. Many of the 39 tracks are previously unreleased. Also includes a comprehensive 24-page booklet with new artwork, lyrics (including some scans of Geoff's original handwritten versions) , extensive sleevenotes (with contributions from all the band members, plus Jane Mann, Andrew Wild and Michael Anthony) and contemporary photos of Geoff and the band.

Not previously released, this version of the closing section of one of our best-loved tracks features a completely different speech to the familiar "Nerve Centre" one. This early version references the haphazard planning for nuclear war lyrics of the album's title track. Recorded with us playing live at Matinee Studios, Reading in March 1982.

I remember the excitement when The Sentinel was released having seen the band live a few times before. I loved the album but was aware that there were tracks missing and it had been rumoured that it was to be a double album. To hear all these takes and works in progress takes me right back to the 80's and the buzz of all the new prog that was coming out back then. This is an absolutely essential purchase for any Pallas fan. nuttinikki
