lyrics
gather up the millions of words that are written
put both birds in the arms of the dark
think of the images broken and bitten
blown into piles like leaves in the park
convenient blindness
tossing and turning the beast begins forays
eating a pity, the remnants of pain
follow the window which looks on the landscapes
i found a new peace, says love's down the drain
convenient blindness
"this is the way the world works, sonny"
sayeth the man with a brain full of ash
"this is the stuff we all feed on, sonny"
says his friend who comes up with the cash
convenient blindness

I remember the excitement when The Sentinel was released having seen the band live a few times before. I loved the album but was aware that there were tracks missing and it had been rumoured that it was to be a double album. To hear all these takes and works in progress takes me right back to the 80's and the buzz of all the new prog that was coming out back then. This is an absolutely essential purchase for any Pallas fan. nuttinikki
