Rock-wing beaten air surrounding Evening senses song to sound About above beyond me happening I the wading through I am.
2.
Keep your hands off Keep your Keep your Hands off me I am iron tower I am hardened vein I am in my own power I am a rubbish-blocked drain I am a vast fortune I am wasted time I am judge and jury I am unsolved crime I am a sick story I am aching head I am a crowd of mourners Stood at my own death bed I am not up for auction I belong to my sins I am the gun for the final Of a race no-one wins Keep your hands off Keep your Keep your Hands off me Keep your hands off Keep your Keep your Hands off me

Homeless 01:36
Stranger in pain This lame street citizen Denizen doped in a cardboard city Cash flow feelings hunt your hurting Hands and feet all numbed ignored Hail the king! The worship rises Hail the king of death and pain Cashing in on Human suffering Business dinnertimes by train Over all and in all weather Make success your god or fail Fail to eat and fail to shimmer Goodbye stranger – failed again
5.
Stropping the razor of our greed Against sensitive planet skin Shaving off the atmosphere Shaving off fauna and flora Sharp in judgement over every Facet of out behaviour except stupidity Head in bag blind Walkman deaf This time the hands refuse to turn back They strain, they strain towards a midnight appointment And I saw a world of bitter gusting winds Along every turgid riverbank Gasping birds flopped in oily garments Our children sucked thorns Between rasps of tattered air I saw roads choked with static transports Like the vomit of some drunk and staggering giant And I saw more and more and more and more Of less and less and less and more When baby cries cut through my sleep And I woke from the dream of tomorrow Today

Yes 05:36
“OK”, she said with gun to head And heart in hands with blood thereon “You’re on”, she said And wished me dead For all I taught and did and do For all I knew the show was through Over and out, the power pulled out “But maiden fair” I cried “Despair is not your natural colouring!” “Earth to earth” said she (said earth) “We’ve had our clashes, ash to ash is All that you have left behind.. oh humankind So blind! Re-wind!” She said in her undress “Desist from rape, redress and yes – You still have time (at least a bit) To change….”
8.
Apathetic and here, I watch myself glide from the sky, Losing height and end up as something gone bump in the light Which doesn’t desire to be dragged from the night: But change is the heartbeat of life into life Which trembling approaches the knife. Redemption is costly there’s blood on the land And all of us till it, it sticks to our hands It seems to be bound up in our very glands; It sucks all out wagon wheels into the slush And falsifies our every blush. The heart’s a thermometer, readings are odd We’re from luke-warmer regions where Cain gives the nod And we tread upon roads where our fathers have trod We are mapless and hapless and blown by the breeze And we chatter of being at ease Dreary me We chatter of being at ease.

Ooze 03:38
The town seems different in the snap of this frost Chin lives in collar Collar on jacket Fingers and hands being separate in the search for warm harbour in the pockets House numbers, house calls, cars on the roadside The intricate crystals of cold fan the windscreens And I’m wandering Wondering whether all your energy spent in your service will ever add up Optimism is a pre-requisite; on a good day it’s hope, on a bad day not there Yes, believer believing of course Yet I’ve been giving answers this morning and well… It’s the fear that you’re hoaxing yourself that comes Peek through the curtains where closet coldness lies Lies on the window curls up like a disdainful lip Or something of a freezing thorn across my sight The fence needs fixing, the door’s a bit loose When I’m cold I tend to ignore the simple jobs I know, I know as I sip coffee and commitment That I’m always forgetting the hails.
10.
When the forests are burning The sticks being snapped The water is oily The oil’s being tapped And everyman’s child Lives where everyman crapped Tell me truthfully Where are you bound? When the cripples are left At the side of the road The healthy revive them Just to increase their load So the healthy do better And the cripples be blowed Tell me truthfully Where are you bound? Where rivers are poisonous Flowing with silt The guilty sell newspapers Histories of guilt The ruins of Babylon Are still being built The blood of the innocent Filmed as it’s spilt Those engaged upon truth Are encouraged to jilt Greed and debauchery run at full tilt Into bed with the lawless one under a quilt of lies and derangement in debt to the hilt And the bonds of our death are paraded as guilt And the filth is too deep for 10,000 mile stilts And the Number One song is a funeral lilt And the only law kept is “Do as thou wilt..” Tell me truthfully Brother Tell me truthfully Sister Tell me truthfully everyone Everyone everyone Are you not bound?
11.
Helping Hand 00:56
Blindfold? Cigarette? Any other clichés we can get for you before Blowing you suddenly into the nothingness That you preached in the apathy and implied in the carelessness of your life? Who are we? Oh, you know.. Atoms… Tracts of empty space.. All that stuff. You’re tried, and convicted – committed; By nothing, of nothing, to nothing. That’s what you’ve always said Who are you? Oh! Now you’re asking…
12.
Midnight 00:47
I lie on my bed and stare at the ceiling Outside the sky is crushing the atmosphere The stars above, the earth below Then worms, more earth, more sky Which is space, and stars I lie on my bed and try not to think too much Even the bed-springs are terrified into silence
13.
Now then- If life is a sort of blip of something that springs up in the middle of nothing Then it’s something that comes to nothing in the end. If life is a part of a greater something, however, Then in someway that something must be a someone For how could life be a part of something not full of life, not alive? So…..Dear someone, will you touch me? I am sick, and tired of sores Dear Someone, will you accept me? I think what’s mine is yours. Having said that, can you touch me I have done much that is hateful Will you reach to me through death? Show me life, if you will I’d be very, very, very, very Grateful

Rook-wing beaten air surrounding Evening senses song to sound About above beyond me happening You the wading through I am This time passage missile speeding Slowed with fearful thoughts of death My bereavements known and guessed at In your hands Lord, in your hands Commit this mind made heartfelt feeling Dusk devoured and spewed in night With the dancing planets racing All to come to you I come crossbound naked, question seeking Slash to join of flesh and blood Challenged hope as prayer arising Into all that stands aloof Christ above me Christ within me Christ above beyond entire This the evensong I offer Rooks-wing beaten air My spire.
