‘Constellations’ is the first solo album from Dean Baker, who is not only the keyboard player, main writer and arranger for Galahad, but also a touring member of Twelfth Night - having appeared with them at every gig since 2010.

Dean has very kindly sent us 2 bonus tracks that are included with this digital version of his album, which are not available anywhere else!

‘Constellations’ is an album borne out of personal tragedy. Sadly Dean’s good friend Ray succumbed to Cancer, leaving Dean to subsequently inherit a large CD collection. Some of the gems included albums by iconic keyboard visionaries such as Jean-Michel Jarre, Kraftwerk, Vangelis and Tangerine Dream amongst others.

Suitably inspired Dean started to write some music in a similar vein during Summer 2018 and before he knew it had over 20 new tracks to work on! These were then distilled and whittled down to the 10 tracks which appear on the CD version of this album. The album features contributions from Dean's Galahad band-mates Lee Abraham and Stu Nicholson on guitars and vocals respectively, and Anastasia Coburg from Coburg on vocals.

Although the album pays homage to some of the pioneering synthesizer artists of the 1970s it is still very much Dean's vision, incorporating both modern production values and his own slant on modern electronic music.

It is released on Avalon Records in conjunction with Oskar Productions.
